I spent the day in Sète, a town close to us which, I think I'm right in saying, has the biggest local fishing port in the Med. I came specifically to see an exhibition by Agnes Varda who grew up in Sète. I also spent the afternoon wandering around the canals and along the waterfront, managing to get quite sunburnt in the process.
So this is where Agnes Varda grew up! wow. What a lovely town! Now I realise I haven't seen the water (sea or river) for a long time now.
ReplyDeleteohhh, i love Sètes and the last movie by Agnès Varda "les plages d'Agnès". have you seen it?
