Mary, this first photo is just amazing!I could stare at it for hours!!!!
Oh! Yes, what Eliabelle said -- just breathtaking.
Agree with above the first photo is stunning!
they are all so full of atmosphere. love the last one too - they are having a little boy conspiracy going there, no? or is he telling them a story? or are they watching him sleep?
Sis Deli is indeed lovely. Also check out Café Bar 9: http://www.bar9.net. As for a place to stay, if you don't need a five-star hotel, I'd suggest contacting Maja Guesthouse (http://www.kolokoti.fi/maja.html) to see if they are currently open.
I the feeling of the top image.
there are such great moods in all of these images..love the first one..oh and Helsinki..I'd love to go one day, this café looks super nice

Helsinki ? Lucky you !My brother went there, I'll ask him and I'll get back to you if he tells me good tips. That first picture reminds me of those old dutch paintings. Merveilleuse !
These photographs are so so divine, I love them !!!
lovely shots...love how you capture the moment(s)...
Ah. Helsinki. Cafe Carusel has been my Saturday morning hang out for a while now... the prices are a bit high but their chairs are so comfy and you get unlimited coffee or tea! Let's see, there is also Ekberg, everyone knows that one. Cafe Esplanad is cosy for rainy Sunday mornings. Cafe Fanny makes pretty good hot chocolate.I could go on forever but really, Cafe Carusel has been my favourite for a while. Hope you enjoy Helsinki!
the first photo is amazing!I wish I could give any tips about helsinki - I definitely love that town, but not living there don't know the cafés or hotels that well. hope you will enjoy helsinki!:)
