If you go down to the woods

My first night in Finland was at Hotel Helka in Helsinki. The furniture & light fittings are Aalto and there's Finlandia vodka in the minibar.
Watch out for bears lurking on the 6th floor though.

I've still got lots of images from Italy I want to post but they'll have to wait for a few weeks.
I have lots of work on at the moment & also fly to London tomorrow. So I'm going to take a break from here for awhile.

my name is lucca

One of our days in Italy was spent wandering around Lucca. I really liked the city. It's full of all the best things Tuscane - great food & wine, beautiful piazzas, Renaissance towers & wicked shopping.

grainy summer

Inspired by Charlotte's beautiful, grainy images on Ilford delta 3200 black & white film, I decided to give it a go & shoot a roll over the summer.
I especially like it's graphic quality and the way it captures typography.
