more autocord musings

I really loved my couple of days experimenting with the autocord. Thank you Chris!
This camera forces you to slow down completely. I love the poetic nature of it. The autocord is certainly not a camera that likes to be rushed.
I did find it quite tricky to line shots up. I guess I like my verticals vertical & horizontals horizontal.
Next time I'll use a tripod and try some portraits.
In any case I'm keeping my eye on ebay for 6x6 cameras.

What are your favourite medium format cameras?

marylebone nordic bakery

While I was last in London a couple of weeks ago I borrowed a friend's Minolta autocord twin lens to play with for a couple of days.
These were taken in the recently opened Marylebone branch of the Nordic Bakery
where I met up with Charlotte one evening for tea & cinnamon buns.

pumps

I'm celebrating with a Japanese birthday meal this evening. It's warm enough here today to be wearing my Repetto ballet pumps. Which is reason enough for a glass or two of celebratory plum wine!
However after seeing Marion's post this morning, I've now some serious Repetto boot envy.

Wishing you all the best of weekends!

this & that

A few days in Wiltshire dog sitting & doing countryish things, before heading to London for a few days of culturalish things. Plus some experimenting with this camera.

I'm also looking forward to seeing this exhibtion at RIBA.
