gorgeous! i have always been drawn to photographs of mining sites - amazing to see how beautiful something so destructive can be. i am always emotionally torn looking at them. i think we took a train past these very mountains last spring while we were in italy. i remember admiring them off in the distance, curious to see more but unable. so glad to see your pictures of them now!
