Last week the rollei and I went on our first 'proper' outing together. We met Marion at Les Rencontres Arles Photographie and wandered around the exhibitions for the day. The results were a mixed bag - most of the shots inside were pretty overexposed. I have lots more experimenting to do. So I think that rollei will be coming along on holiday with us to Italy next week!
i love film, because when you DO get it right (unfortunately, it usually is a hit or a miss), you get it REALLY right! i've had 6 rolls of film shot with my holga before and not liked a SINGLE one. then i get 5 more rolls developed and i love almost all of them so much i could cry :) and then it's worth it. though still an expensive habit :P
anyway, these are great! i especially the love the 2nd and 3rd. the 3rd is so dark and murky, and i love the little glimpse of a digital display! beautiful light in all the others :)
i think your rollei (and you) deserves a pat on the back; great stuff! and wow, italy! ahh, i'd love to go back there... look forward to see italy through your eyes; or should i say rollei's lens.
hi mary! your blog is beautiful. i first saw some great photos of barcelona on your flickr. that's where i live. then i came here, and discovered you live in montpellier. i love that city and have spent many summers in a tiny village in languedoc. it's so nice that i've found your site :)
