As soon as you get off the train at Grasse you're hit by the heady smell of perfume. This is not surprising, as Grasse is the town central to Patrick Suskind's novel Perfume and is still France's center of the perfume industry. Incidentally, Grasse was the death place of Édith Piaf.
so poetic that edith piaf passed in this fragrant town. I always wanted to get a perfume from france, one that is custom for me! I know they have perfumes down to a science.
I hadn't heard of Grasse before, but now you are making me really curious. I have only seen Paris, but all these different places you show everytime in your blog with amazing photographs make me want to visit them all!
